About Davos

Davos in Grisons is a place of superlatives: this holiday destination with international ambience is the largest resort in the Alps for mountain holidays, sport and conferences, at 1560 m the highest town in the Alps and a high-altitude health resort with a long tradition.

Getting to Davos

Davos lies right in the very heart of the canton of Grisons. The nearest airport is Zürich-Kloten (about 160 Km).

By car

Reach Davos in under two hours by car from Zurich, with a 30-45 minute drive from the Landquart motorway exit (A13 / E43). Consider carpooling with fellow iCANX Summit attendees for a more sustainable transportation approach.

Alternatively, reach Davos through various routes, including Thusis/Tiefencastel, Engadine via Flüela,  Albula, Julier Passes, or the Vereina Tunnel.

By train

Travel sustainably and enjoy scenic Alpine views by taking the 2-hour, 40-minute train journey from Zürich airport to Davos (Dorf or Platz), with a train change at Landquart and transfer to Rhaetian Railways (RhB)

Venue

Davos is home to the most modern congress centre in the Alps, and as the venue for the World Economic Forum (WEF), the resort sets new standards in the staging of world-class events. The Congress Centre offers a variety of meeting rooms with high-tech infrastructure.
